Sausage Breakfast Bread





1 tube crescent rolls (I like to use the big & flaky)
1 pack sausage (Jimmy Deen roll)
½ cup onion
¼ cup celery
¼ cup green pepper
4 oz cream cheese

In a large skillet brown sausage and vegetables, drain
Add 4oz cream cheese, stir until melted
Grease cookie sheet or jelly roll pan
Roll out crescent rolls pressing together all perforations
Press out width to 10x12
Spoon sausage mixture down the center
Cut strips on both sides from middle out
Fold strips over sausage
Brush with egg

Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes


Here are a few tips for this one.....


In a hurry one day I threw in a Publix Seasoning Blend Pack. Hard to tell the difference.


If you are making this for a large crowd... double the recipe and press 1 tube of rolls into the bottom of a Pyrex spread sausage mixture and then top with other tube of rolls.
